Scindapsus treubii Mint Aurea Variegated

Scindapsus treubii Mint Aurea Variegated is a rare and highly collectible tropical houseplant admired for its elegant, elongated foliage and soft mint-to-golden variegation. This unique form of Scindapsus treubii offers a refined look for collectors who love unusual variegated aroids with subtle color contrast and premium visual appeal.

Plant Characteristics

This Scindapsus features thick, smooth, and slightly glossy leaves with a narrow, lance-shaped form. The variegation may appear in soft mint green, creamy yellow, aurea tones, and irregular marbled patterns, making every leaf naturally different. It has a climbing growth habit and performs beautifully when trained on a moss pole, plank, or support. As it matures, the leaves can become larger and more dramatic, creating a clean, elegant display for indoor plant collections.

Care Guide

Provide bright, indirect light to help maintain strong variegation and healthy growth. Avoid harsh direct sun, which may damage the leaves. Water when the top layer of the soil begins to dry, and use a well-draining aroid mix with good airflow around the roots. This plant prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally above 60%, and warm temperatures between 65–85°F. Keep it away from cold drafts and overwatering for best results.

Why Collectors Love It

Collectors love Scindapsus treubii Mint Aurea Variegated for its rare color combination, elegant leaf shape, and slow, refined growth habit. Its mint and aurea variegation makes it a standout piece for rare plant collections and premium tropical displays.
