Hoya latifolia Silver

Product Overview
Hoya latifolia Silver, scientifically known as Hoya latifolia, is a beautiful collector’s Hoya admired for its broad, thick foliage with attractive silver splashing across the leaves. This tropical wax plant brings a refined, exotic look to any rare plant collection, making it a standout choice for Hoya lovers, indoor plant collectors, and wholesale buyers looking for distinctive foliage.

Plant Characteristics
This Hoya features large, firm, waxy leaves with a rounded to slightly oval shape and a naturally vining growth habit. The foliage is typically deep green with silver speckling or splash patterns, giving each leaf a unique appearance. As the plant matures, Hoya latifolia Silver can develop long trailing or climbing vines, making it suitable for hanging baskets, trellises, or decorative indoor displays. With proper care, mature plants may also produce clusters of fragrant wax flowers.

Care Guide
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain healthy growth and encourage strong silver foliage expression. Water when the potting mix is mostly dry, as Hoyas prefer to dry slightly between watering. This plant grows best in moderate to high humidity, ideally around 60% or higher, with warm temperatures between 65–85°F. Use a well-draining aroid or Hoya mix containing orchid bark, perlite, coco chips, and other airy materials to support healthy roots and prevent overwatering issues.

Why Collectors Love It
Collectors love Hoya latifolia Silver for its bold leaf size, elegant silver markings, and easy-care nature. It is a highly desirable rare Hoya that combines tropical beauty with strong ornamental value.
